Please join us for an evening of music featuring the gifted young musicians of the Colburn Academy. Performances of works by Ole Bull, Mendelssohn, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, with Juan-Salvador Carrasco, cello, Mayumi Kanagawa, violin, Daewon Kim, violin, Yoonbe Kim, violin, Youjin Lee, violin, among others. Free admission.
About the Academy:
The Colburn Academy, the newest division of the prestigious Colburn School, seeks to enhance and refine the performance skills, musicianship and artistry of highly gifted pre-college age musicians. Academy students receive instruction, guidance and mentorship from the distinguished faculty of The Colburn School Conservatory of Music which includes:
Richard Beene (bassoon), Danielle Belen (violin), Paul Coletti (viola), Yehuda Gilad (clarinet), Ronald Leonard (cello), Robert Lipsett (violin), Peter Lloyd (bass), John Perry (piano), Ory Shihor (piano), Jack Van Geem (percussion), Allan Vogel (oboe), and Jim Walker (flute).
