L.I.T.E. (Living Independently Through Employment) Opportunities and Training! A Homeless Job Portal
L.I.T.E. PROGRAM PROFILE
The L.I.T.E. (Living Independently Through Employment) Program was created in 2007 to meet the needs of the low-income community in downtown Los Angeles assisting them with all aspects of searching for and obtaining employment. Funded by the city of Los Angeles, L.I.T.E. is part of Skid Row Development Corporation (SRDC), a non-profit organization, whose mission is to improve the lives of the homeless and low-income population of the Central City East community, commonly known as Skid Row, by providing shelter, board, counseling, job training, employment-placement and housing-placement to any adult free of charge.
Our mission is to empower all homeless individuals to reach self-sufficiency through training, education, and employment. Our objective is to find jobs for the qualified candidates in our database who are job-ready and eager to work.
